I think that I have mentioned it before but.....
I LOVE MY WIFE!!!!! Who else can look great in church, share the most spiritual side of themselves, actually send their husband to bed, go to choir, eat dinner, sing in the Messiah, put their kids to bed, spend quality time with her husband, and still look past all of his faults and love him? I LOVE YOU SOOOOO MUCH SUZETTE! Thank you for always being there for me.:-)

Wow.
There are several things that I will always be wowed by in my life. First of all, I will always be amazed by the love that our Heavenly Father has for us and for all that He has given us. Second, I will never get used to how much my wife loves me, even with all of my many faults. I will always be amazed at my children and how much they change day by day and what they do day by day. Right now at 1:45 in the morning, I am amazed at how tired I can be when You'd think that I would be used to doing this schedule.... oh well

Suzy's first blogging attempt
Miranda got her ears pierced!
We told Miranda that she could get her ears pierced before she goes to school so she and I went to the mall today and had a little date. We got her ears pierced, shopped for accessories and had lunch. We had a great time just being together. Miranda is so grown up now! It did make me feel a bit better when she wanted to play in the mall play area =). There is still some little girl left in her and will do our darndest to hang onto that! Isn't she so beautiful?!

I am a guy. I like guy things, cars, trucks, bugs and slimy things. Here in Tennessee are some things that they don't have in Utah. I will show them to you.
This is called a pancake turtle by the locals. It's actually called a spiny softshell turtle. The males are only 7-9 inches big. The females, however, are 19-24 inches big and they are fast!!!
These little buggers are called lightening bugs. Yes, they do light up and they are not very fast. Locals claim that if you catch one and squish it, the juice from inside will glow for up to a half an hour. Haven't tried it yet. Don't really want to. They are also Pennsylvania's state insect.
This is a male Cardinal. They're cool. We just don't have them in Utah.
So there you go. I realize that I need to put more on about my family, and I will shortly have a good one y'all!

Come rain or snow...
Mailboxes. Even though email seems to be prevailing as the common way to have long conversations and even receive bills, there still is a thing out there that we receive junkmail and the occasional birthday or thoughtful card in, called a mailbox. Black, white, plastic, rusted metal, held up by old transmission lines, encased in brick with a very small opening in the front and a lock in the back for extremists and even the occasional fishing lure, James, mailboxes are out there. Here are a few from my work areas in Tennessee. Yes that is a snake hanging from the lower one.

'Bout Time
So its about time that I posted something. We have been quite busy with work and the girls and it seems the smaller the living quarters, the less time that you have, maybe because you realize every little thing that is wrong and attack it immediately. I am definitely finding out the highs and lows of salesmanship and realizing that even on a bad day, it's really not that bad. I am able to get out everyday and finding that I am losing the weight (I am down 6 lbs in two weeks) that I had gained after the stint behind the desk. I am also finding out that when you are a door-to-door "upgrade manager", or salesman as other people call us, that Dr. Scholl's is my new best friend. A can of mace will probably be my next purchase as I have been chased by one rottweiler and a collie jumped at the storm door at my chest area. Good thing my wrist was in the way and caught the door to shut it. Fun stuff. We do love being here though and are getting used to the area. Today was Stake Conference at the Embassy Suite ball room since the stake is too big to actually fit in the stake center. The girls really love having their friends close by, althought today the both said that they really missed their Grandmas and Grandpas and all of their aunts and uncles. So expect a phone call soon. We love you all very much and we are sure happy to be here together, especially as tomorrow will be our eighth year anniversary at 10:22 am. We have been blessed with three beautiful daughters and I have the greatest wife ever. She truly is my companion, my lover and my best friend. To those of you who check these everyday, I will try to write more often, but no promises. Keep smiling all, We love you all!!!

The time has come...
"The time has come," the Walrus said,
"To talk of many things:
Of shoes--and ships--and sealing-wax--
Of cabbages--and kings--
And why the sea is boiling hot--
And whether pigs have wings."
And while we will not be heading so far away as through the looking glass, we will be leaving for Tennessee on Monday. We are really excited and completely feel that this is something the Lord is asking us to do. Something akin to Father Lehi and Sariah and their family leaving for the promised land. we love all of our friends and family, and we hope at some time you will be able to visit us out there!

My Sweetheart of sweethearts
I missed yesterday, because, I was actually working, real busy actually. So here is a blog about my wife. She is the greatest wife there is out there. That should be enough to say, but I will give you a real description. She cares about me wholeheartedly and puts up with my mistakes, impatience, temper, and she always puts up with my childish behavior and crummy music choices. She has always puts her desires for leisure behind mine and every now and then actually enjoys what ever it is I have decided to watch. We are not unique from other couples in the world in that we do have our trials and our differences, like other couples out there, but through true love, through charity for one another we make it work. I love her very much and I am glad that we will be together for ever. Love you very much Suzette.

Little Natalie
Here she is, little Miss Energy/Cuteness. She sure has been driving us wild by getting things out, rearranging things and the like. Her favorite places to make a mess are the dishwasher (if we don't lock it, she opens it and sits on the door playing with dirty dishes, if we lock it, she turns it on), and the girls' underwear and sock drawer. She's too fast for her old man. On Sunday at church, I turned around for literally two seconds, she was out the door and headed to primary where mommy was and daddy looking all over the gym for her. She sure is cute, but wears us out.

Poor Little Emily
My little dear sweet Emily. She has another ear infection, possibly in both ears according to the good doctor, but seems to be handling it well. She sure hasn't let it slow her down at all though, as she just loves to sing and sing and sing. She really enjoys singing the songs from Enchanted, and Annie. We can't get her to hold still to eat her dinner, put the second Annie comes on, she's in singing heaven. She is such a little sweet heart.

So yesterday was Miranda's fifth birthday. Wow. It was a lot of fun but, certainly a reminder of how fast time flies. For those of you who happen to not remember what happened that year, here's a couple of reminders. A week before Miranda was born, Elizabeth Smart was found in Sandy, and the Iraqi war started the day she was born. We have seen a lot of changes in the past five years and it is only the tip of the iceberg. I am so glad that I have the constancy of a great family and a God that cares about me as his son. I am so glad that I have been blessed with my little princesses and although they test out my patience and my experience as a parent, they are truly my little wonders and miracles.
